conditions:

1)    The competition is exclusively for Muslims artist from all over the Islamic world .

2)    The artist is required to fill out an application form , and  submit his/her resume with a recent photo

3) The artist is required to submit the a brief idea about the concept of the art work .

4)    The artist will be required to adhere to the sizes of the chosen location in which the murals will be rendered .

5)    artists can participate by no more than three designs for three positions with the possibility  of campaigning architectural and sculptural design.

6)   It is necessary to identify the location to which the design is intended.

7)    If the artist choose not to execute his/her murals, then he or she will be required to suggest the medium of the work , which should be suitable for Makkah’s harsh weather or climate .

8)    The artist can use software such as the 3D Max or other computer programs that helps illustrate the design from all dimensions.

l9)    The suggested designs could be submitted in one of the  following forms :

a)plane canson paper.

b)(CD).

c)E-mail file
 

d)small prototype

10) It is preferred  that all the information be sent in Arabic  and/or English on  a CD .  

11)    The work submitted should be novel , authentic, creative, and not imitated in any ways.

12)    The participant has no right to object to the panel of referees decision and can not withdraw the designs submitted.

13)    The deadline for receiving the designs is 11 / 8 / 2009 .

14) The wining artist will be notified with the result on  4 / 10 / 2009 .

 15) The artists whose design of murals won one of the prizes will be invited to com to Makkah and stay for tow days. a round trip ticket and accommodation will be provided .
